Community Pantry
Through our partnership with local charity Healthy Living Platform, we’re delighted to host a weekly pantry at the community centre from 10am-1pm every Tuesday.
The volunteer run pantry makes use of surplus and donated items, offering a weekly choice of healthy food for a weekly pay-as-you-go price and is open to all local residents.
Pantry visitors can pay £2 for 5 fresh or long life items, £4 for 10, £6 for 15 or £8 for 20.
The Pantry aims to:
Reduce your food shopping bills
Offer a diverse range of fresh fruit and vegetables and healthy food
Offer more choice than a food bank
Create a sense of community and solidarity
Reduce food waste
