Estate Services Update

We’re chuffed to report another successful quarter for the Estate Services Team, who rolled up their collective sleaves to keep the estate looking it’s best in the three months to Christmas. December is a difficult time of year for rubbish and litter, but we’re blessed with a team of hardworking cleaners, grounds maintenance staff and bulk waste drivers whose combined efforts kept the estate sparkling.

More specifically, well done to Contract Manager, Andra, who recently won the Protect our Planet Award for her work to support local wildlife through the installation of a bug hotel and water lilies in the enclosed garden at Foxley Square. The team also donated ten Christmas hampers, delivering them to residents with support from the Housing Team in the lead up to Christmas.

The Cleaning Team have also been busy jet washing and disinfecting the bin pods and chambers, as well as various bits of signage, seating and table tennis tables. Despite the freezing cold weather and high winds we’ve had at the start of 2025, the team tackled these tasks with their typical energy and enthusiasm, getting the job done in no time. Well done guys!
