A Cromwell Road property was recovered earlier this year after a possession order was granted for persistent anti-social behaviour, including noise, altercations, dogs roaming communal areas and other serious issues.
This outcome was the result of work by residents, Pinnacle, the Police and partner agencies. We thank residents whose reports and evidence helped build the case and secure appropriate action.
Safer Neighbourhood Team Officer, Christopher Hopwood, provided significant support, attending court last December when a judge granted a Closure Order. This reduced further anti-social behaviour and brought residents relief while possession proceedings continued.
Residents can now enjoy a safer, quieter home. The case shows how partnership working, prompt reporting and evidence—especially for incidents outside office hours—support effective enforcement. Housing Officers can also share concerns with the Police, Adult Social Care, Mental Health Services and other partners to secure suitable support and intervention.
We understand that reporting can feel difficult, but working together can make our communities better places to live.
