Grounds Maintenance Team Update

Under their commitment to making a positive impact where we work, the estate Grounds Maintenance Team have partnered with Rydon to donate topsoil to the allotments on Winterslow Road. These allotments and planters are rented and overseen by resident group the Happenings, offering an opportunity to enjoy horticulture, getting to know their neighbours and their hands into the soil. Elsewhere in GM news, the team has been working on improving the biodiversity in the gardens at Foxley Square. High praise for the project recently came in the shape of a heron, perched on the fence overlooking the pond! It’s unclear how the local frogs feel about this new addition and they were unavailable for comment at the time of writing.
