Rainy Skies, Warm Hearts and a Wet Bouncy Castle: The Happenings at the Community Fun Day

On 19th July, The Happenings joined local teams to bring a splash of joy to the community with a lively Fun Day. We rolled in with an ice cream van, a slushy stand, and plenty of drinks—ready to serve up summer vibes. But the weather had other plans….

What started as a drizzle quickly turned into a downpour. Still, in true community spirit, residents showed up undeterred. Raincoats on and umbrellas in hand, they stopped by for a chat, a treat, and a good laugh. Despite the soggy skies, the day was filled with warmth, connection, and resilience. It was a reminder that even when the weather doesn’t play along, our community does.
