TrashGxng: Streetwear Design Course

Ten local youngsters recently enjoyed our free six-week course in streetwear and fashion design. Delivered in partnership with local CiC TrashGxng, the young people designed and created their own clothing, which is now available to buy online at trashgxng.co.uk.

The course was designed to build the confidence of attendees, supporting them to develop the personal and professional skills they need to take the first steps in their young careers. One young person said ‘the course gave me more confidence in myself and knowing how to work with my weaknesses and push myself. It kind of took away the initial fear and let me know it’s not as bad as it seems and I just need to use these techniques to help me fake it ‘til I make it’.
